WorkInSriLanka is a volunteer-driven non-profit organization dedicated to helping individuals interested in moving to Sri Lanka. Founded in 2013, we provide networking opportunities, mentoring, and help facilitate a smooth transition to Sri Lanka. While WorkInSriLanka has been inactive for many years, we believe that as Sri Lanka recovers from the economic crisis, the time is right to revive our organisation and attract talent back to the country.
Sri Lanka's Economic Recovery and WorkInSriLanka
Sri Lanka has come out of a tough economic situation and is now on the upswing, and the government has set ambitious targets for economic growth. However, with the large-scale brain drain the country has seen over the last few years, it is critical that Sri Lanka attract more human capital, especially with global exposure. We believe WorkInSriLanka can help Sri Lanka's economic recovery in a meaningful way.
Meetups and Conferences
WorkInSriLanka has hosted numerous conferences and meetups to educate and guide individuals who have returned to Sri Lanka or are considering relocating to Sri Lanka. We expect to hold multiple events during 2025, as we ramp up our efforts.
